The Celestron 500x Power Biological Microscope is an intermediate-level
biological microscope that features an electric illuminator that provides direct
control of light. The Abbe condenser and iris diaphragm are supplied to
concentrate and adjust for more or less illumination. A mechanical stage is
standard equipment with knobs controlling both axes for easy centering of
specimen slides. Other features include 10x and 12.5x eyepieces, 4x, 10x, and
40x objective lenses, fully-coated glass optics, all-metal body with monocular
head, five prepared slides, and coarse and fine focusing knobs.
